Easy Barbeque Appetizer

what you need
  • 12 oz Kraft Cheese Cubes ~ (6 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, 6 oz. pepper jack)
  • 12 oz. button mushrooms
  • 12 oz. green olives
  • 12 oz. black olives
  • 12 oz. artichokes in water
  • 1 bag cooked cleaned peeled shrimp
  • Grape tomatoes
  • 1 tsp. chopped basil
  • 2 Tbsp. chopped red onion
  • 1 cup EVOO ~ extra virgin olive oil
  • 2/3 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
make it
Mix all ingredients together and let marinate in refrigerator for 4 hours.

I serve this appetizer in a scooped out watermelon with an American Flag inserted in the watermelon ~ use party toothpicks.

I have also used Kraft Italian Dressing for the marinade instead of the EVOO, red wine vinegar, sugar, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes.
This is just a basic recipe ~ I use lots of other good ingredients such as cauliflower, peppers, and salmon, what I might have on hand at the time.
