what you need
  • 3 lb. fresh Atlantic salmon
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp. ketchup
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
make it
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place foil over a baking sheet pan and spray with nonstick Pam. Place salmon pieces on pan.

THEN MIX the rest of the ingredients in a mixing bowl. Mixture will have a brownish color. Pour evenly over the salmon in the pan.

Bake for about 25 minutes. I found that some ovens heat differently, give or take 5 minutes. Salmon will turn out wet looking due to the glaze mixture. If you want to harden the glaze a bit, then bake 20 minutes and broil it up to 5 minutes until top is a little crispy. This recipe is for the thicker pieces or "salmon steak" pieces. If salmon pieces are on the thin side, it would take less time in the oven.
My great grandmother had this recipe for years and made it for our family until she became ill. I am passing on this recipe to my family as well as to Kraft. My family has really enjoyed this salmon dish for a long time. It's hard to get fish to where it is not too dry...but with this recipe, it comes out great and so moist.
