Perfect Biscuit Gravy

what you need
  • 1/2 pound sausage
  • Butter
  • 2-3 Tbsp. flour
  • 2 cups half-and-half (or milk)
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • Dash of hot sauce
  • Dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • Some ground pepper
make it
Cook and crumble sausage in pan. Remove to plate.

Add butter to pan to make 2 to 3 tablespoons fat. Toss in flour and stir to brown and make a paste. Slowly add half-and-half and stir to make thick gravy.

Add seasonings and crumbled sausage. Serve.
