"Poncho Villa" Layered Dip

what you need
  • 1 lg. can or 2 small cans refried beans
  • 3 avocados, mashed
  • 1 cup green onions, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper, pinch of each
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup mayo
  • 3 tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 can sliced black olives
  • 8 oz. shredded cheese
  • 3/4 cup lettuce, chopped
  • Tortilla chips
make it
Drain and spread refried beans onto bottom of 13x9x2 inch baking pan. Mix avocados, green onions, lemon juice and salt and pepper; spread on top of refried beans.

Mix sour cream, taco seasoning, and mayo; spread on top of avocado mixture.

Top layers with tomatoes, olives, cheese and lettuce. Serve with chips.
Refrigerate before and after serving. I like to make it the day of so the avocados are fresh.
