Family Favorite Banana Bread

what you need
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 bananas, diced not mashed
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
make it
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease pan to be used.

Mix first 5 ingredients together. Add water, oil, vanilla, and eggs to dry ingredients one at a time and mix well. Carefully add diced banana so that you don't accidently mash them.

Pour batter into a greased angel food pan or if you rather 2 loaf pans. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Notes
Check with toothpick starting from 1 hour depending on baking pan used. Also, it is easy to pierce a banana chunk with this recipe so make sure the toothpick is wet with batter not banana.
