Easy Egg Custard Pie

what you need
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 can (13-ounce) evaporated milk
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
  • Ground nutmeg

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9 inch glass pie plate.

In a mixing bowl, lightly beat the eggs. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, sugar and salt. Add flour mixture to eggs. Gradually add evaporated milk and vanilla.

Pour into prepared pie plate and sprinkle with nutmeg.

Bake 40 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Pie will rise and settle as it cools and form a light crust.
