Savory Meatloaf

what you need
  • Meatloaf:
  • 2 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 box Stove Top Savory Herb Stuffing
  • 1 Tablespoon steak seasoning
  • 3 medium eggs
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
  • Topping:
  • 1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
make it
Preheat oven to 375°F. Mix meatloaf ingredients and pack in a standard loaf pan.

Mix topping ingredients till smooth and then spread over top of meatloaf.

Bake for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes. Drain, slice, and serve.
Notes
I have been making meatloaf this way for several years. It was a lucky accident that I had no bread crumbs or crackers and decided to use Stove Top that first time. I don't use anything else in my meatloaf since.
