Makes: 12 + servings Total Time: 30 min
Category: Appetizers Sub Category: Hot Dips

what you need
  • 1 tub (8 oz.) Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (15 oz.) No Bean Chili
  • 8-12 oz. Kraft Monterey Jack cheese
  • 8 oz. (1/2 of a 16 oz. package) Velveeta Cheese
  • Sliced jalapeño peppers (optional)
make it
Spread cream cheese evenly on the bottom of a 2 qt. casserole dish. Spread chili on top of cream cheese. Grate (or shred) Monterey Jack cheese – layer on top of chili. Slice Velveeta cheese into ¼” thin slices (you can grate it if you want, but I find the Velveeta cheese works better sliced). Layer Velveeta cheese over Monterey jack cheese. Optional – sprinkle sliced jalapeño peppers on top.

Bake at 350ºF for 20 min, or until cheese is melted starting to brown.

Serve with tortilla chips for dipping.
Notes
My kids can make a meal off this dip. My daughter prefers it with "Hint of Lime" chips, while my son prefers regular chips. This is always a request for office meal events. Enjoy!
