A Different Kind of Meatloaf

what you need
- 5 slices of bread, torn, and soaked in milk
- 2 lb. ground beef (or ground turkey)
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. minced onion
- 2 cups ketchup
- 2 Tbsp. yellow mustard
- 1 cup water
- 2-3 Tbsp. brown sugar
make it
Squeeze excess milk off bread. Combine meat, bread, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, and onion. Form into hamburger patties.*
Fry in skillet until patties are cooked through.
Meanwhile, while patties are cooking, in a medium saucepan combine ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, and water. Stir with whisk to combine.** Heat over medium heat until bubbly and thickened. Pour sauce over patties and enjoy!
Notes
*If meatloaf seems to dry, add a little bit of the excess milk and it is too wet add a few more pieces of bread.
** If sauce does not thicken, add a little more ketchup.
