Always Good Meatloaf

Makes: 8-10 servings Total Time: 1 hr 30 min

what you need
  • 1 1/2 lb. very lean ground chuck
  • 3/4 cup crushed saltine crackers or bread crumbs
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup chopped onions
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/4 cup Heinz tomato catsup
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green bell peppers
make it
Combine all ingredients thoroughly.

Pack firmly into loaf pan.

Bake on center rack of oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes or more before slicing.
Notes
I like to top it with tomato catsup before baking.

This is a very good and tasty meatloaf.
