Banana Chip Coffeecake

what you need
  • 1 package (18.25 oz.) banana cake mix
  • 1 cup cold coffee
  • 1 package (3.4 oz.) Jell-O Instant Vanilla Pudding Mix
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 cup finely chopped walnuts
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 325º. Grease and flour a 12 cup bundt pan. In a large mixing bowl, mix all ingredients except: cinnamon, walnuts and chocolate chips. Mix on medium speed for 2 minutes. In a small mixing bowl stir together cinnamon, walnuts and chocolate chips. Set aside.

Spoon half of the batter into prepared bundt pan. Sprinkle all of the nut mixture, then top with the remaining batter.

Bake @ 325º for 50-60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pan; cool completely. If desired, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
