Banana Cream Bread with Chocolate

what you need
  • 1 pkg. (3 oz.) cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 2 large bananas, mashed
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
make it
Preheat oven to 325. Blend together cream cheese, butter, and brown sugar. When completely blended, add in egg, sour cream, and bananas and blend well.

In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and chocolate chips. Stir into wet mixture until well mixed.

Pour mixture in greased loaf pan and bake at 325 until sides begin to pull away from pan - about 1 - 1 1/4 hours.

Let cool completely on wire rack before storing. Freezes beautifully.
