what you need
- 1 can (28 oz.) baked beans any flavor
- 1 Tbsp. yellow mustard
- 2 Tbsp. ketchup
- 1 heaping spoon pickle relish
- Sprinkle brown sugar
- 5 hamburger buns, opened (you can use bread or hot dogs buns)
- 5 hot dogs, sliced into 4
- 10 slices cheese (good melting cheese)
make it
Mix together first 5 ingredients in a bowl, Set aside.
On a cookie sheet, place buns flat side up. Spoon bean mixture on each bun, spread out. Place 2 slices of hot dog on each bun flat side down. Top with cheese slice.
Broil until cheese is melted or golden brown. Enjoy!
Notes
The use of mustard, ketchup & brown sugar in this recipe is for taste. Use at your discretion.
My kids usually eat any leftover bean mixture. My mother in law always made this recipe for her family, so I can't go too long without making it, not that I would want to go to long. It's Great!
