Beef and Brown Gravy

what you need
  • 1 1/2 lb. stew beef, cubed or round steak cut into small pieces
  • 3 cans Campbell's condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 3 cans Campbell's French onion soup
make it
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Mix all ingredients in a large covered casserole (do not brown the meat) or oven safe Dutch oven.

Cover and cook at 350 degrees for 3 hours. Remove from oven and uncover. Best if it sets and cools about 20 minutes to thicken while you prepare the rest of the meal.
Doesn't have to be stirred while cooking, but can be.

I serve this over No Yolk noodles. May also be served over mashed potatoes or rice.

Great dish to put in the oven on Sunday morning. Come home from church and make No Yolk noodles, a vegetable for a side dish and some hot rolls - you have a wonderful meal!
