what you need
  • 1 lb. eye-of-round steak, thin
  • Flour
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 3/4 cup red wine
make it
Heat oil in bottom of medium stockpan. Slice steaks into small slices, and coat in flour seasoned with salt and pepper. Brown steak slices in pan. Remove and set aside.

Add garlic, onions and mushrooms to pan and cook gently until softened and tender.

Add steaks back to pot and pour broth and wine over steak, and vegetable mixture. Simmer for 1 hour.
