Best Fudgy Brownies

what you need
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3 oz. unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2/3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 cup nuts (optional)
make it
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8x8 or 9x9 pan.(8x8 yields moister brownies).

2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and chocolate over low heat while stirring constantly. Remove from heat and cool.

3. Stir sugar into the cooled chocolate mixture in saucepan. Add eggs, one at a time, beating with a wooden spoon until combined. Stir in vanilla.

4. In a separate bowl combine flour and baking soda, then add to the chocolate mixture stirring until combined. If desired, stir in nuts. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.

5. Bake for 30 minutes for 8-inch pan or 25 minutes for 9-inch pan.
These brownies are moist and delicous. Good with or without nuts. They are moister without though.

Also for best results in moistness, do not bake for complete time. Check about 5-7 minutes before the set time. If a toothpick comes out clean they are just done and perfect!
