what you need
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 pkg. (1.25 oz.) taco seasoning mix
- 2 cups French fried onions, divided
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 32 bite size tortilla chips
- 3/4 cup sour cream
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
make it
1. Cook beef in nonstick skillet over medium-high heat 5 min. or until browned; drain. Stir in taco seasoning mix, 3/4 cup water, 1 cup French fried onions and cilantro. Simmer 5 minutes, stirring often.
2. Preheat oven to 350. Arrange tortilla chips on foil-lined baking sheet. Top with beef mixture, sour cream, remaining onions and cheese.
3. Bake 5 minutes or until cheese is melted and onions are golden.
Notes
Serve these mini-tacos with diced fresh tomato, olives, refried beans and lettuce for even more flavor and variety.
