  • 1 can blueberries or 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 1 small can crushed pineapple
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 3/4 cup pecan pieces
  • 1 stick butter or margarine, melted
make it
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Pour blueberries into 9 by 12 inch rectangular pan, including juice. Pour pineapple over the blueberries and sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the moist ingredients. Sprinkle pecan pieces over dry cake mix, and then pour the melted butter evenly on top.

Place in oven and bake for 1 hour or until top is brown.
The recipe is called dump cake because that is basically what you do. This is a delicious cake and really easy to make. Serve warm and listen to the raves.
