what you need
- 1 lb. pork
- 1 lb. beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- Double pastry crust
make it
Preheat oven 425°F. Combine all ingredients, cook on medium heat until boiling, and cook 5 more minutes.
Spoon into pie crust, place other on top, pinch to seal, and cut steam hole in top middle. Place aluminum foil on edge of pie crust.
Bake in preheated over for 20 minutes. Remove foil and continue cooking for additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
Serve as appetizer of main dish.
Serve with pickles, cucumber salad, etc.
