what you need
- 1 can (20-oz.) crushed pineapple in its own juice
- 6 large red or green apples
- 1 box Jell-O Sugar Free, Fat Free Instant Butterscotch Pudding
- 1 tub Cool Whip Light or Fat Free Topping
- 1/2 cup chopped dry roasted peanuts
make it
Place pineapple with juice in bowl. Core and cut apples in bite-sized pieces and add to pineapple.
Sprinkle pudding directly from the box over fruit. Fold in Cool Whip. Add peanuts.
Refrigerate at least two (2) hours.
Notes
This recipe will stay fresh in the refrigerator for several days.
This is a recipe that was shared in one of my Weight Watchers meetings. If giving nutrition information, on the point system, one cup is only 2 points with peanuts, and only 1 point without nuts.
I've taken this dish to many potlucks and everyone has asked for the recipe. It's gotten to the point that I take printed copies of it with me to these parties.
