what you need
- 2 lb. lean ground chuck
- 1 med. onion, chopped and diced
- 1 package Lawry's meatloaf seasoning
- 1/2 box Stove Top Savory Herb Stuffing
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 can (15 oz.) Hunt's tomato sauce, divided
make it
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix ground chuck, onion, seasoning, stuffing, eggs, and 1/2 of can of tomato sauce.
(Line the bottom of broiler with foil and spray the top of broiler with Pam, makes for easier clean up). Shape into 1/3 lb. loaves and place on a broiler pan. Pour the remaining tomato sauce atop the loaves.
Bake for 1 hour.
Notes
After this dish, I never have any leftovers. Using the broiler pan keeps the meatloaf from becoming grease soaked and the small loaves bake quicker.
