Chicken Divan

what you need
  • 3-4 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups frozen broccoli (or fresh)
  • 2 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 2/3 cup half-and-half
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 cup fine bread crumbs
  • 3 cups brown or white rice
make it
Boil chicken breast, drain and cut into strips. Set aside. Cook broccoli (undercook slightly) and set aside. In large bowl, mix the soup, mayonnaise, half-and-half, cheddar cheese and lemon juice.

Place chicken and broccoli in baking dish and pour mixture over it. Cover with bread crumbs.

Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes. Cook rice on stove. Serve Chicken Divan over rice.

Rated  by shellkp on 1/3/2009 I have tried several different Chicken Devan recipes and this one is my favorite. The only change I would make is that I did add curry powder. Other than that, this recipe is great!
