Chocolate Cheese Ball

what you need
  • 1 pkg. (8-ounce) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 3/4 cup finely powdered chopped pecans
make it
In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese and butter. Beat with an electric hand mixer, on a low speed, until smooth. Stir in powdered sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla. Add chocolate chips; stir. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.

Form the chilled mixture into the shape of a ball. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for another hour. Roll the ball in the chopped pecans. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
This recipe is delicious!!! It is great for any occasion. At my school we are making a Family Cookbook and it was soooo good the head of the cook book said this was A MUST to have in the cookbook. This is great with crackers.

At first I thought "This won't be any good", but once I put one bite into my mouth it became my FAVORITE DIP. This is something different that you can share with family or friends. Hope you enjoy this dip as much as my family does.
