Chopped Ham & Basmatic Brown Rice Casserole

what you need
  • 1 cup basmati brown rice
  • 2 Tbsp. virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup each chopped red, yellow and orange peppers
  • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1/4 cup Kraft Italian Vinaigrette Salad Dressing with Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 small can whole corn
  • 1 small can sweet peas
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup chopped olives with pimento
  • 1 can chopped ham
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup Garlic Texas Pete Hot Sauce
  • 1 tsp. ground sea salt
  • 1 tsp. ground black pepper

Cook rice according to package directions. While rice is cooking, place olive oil, chopped onion, chopped peppers and chopped garlic in a frying pan. Heat until tender.

Add Kraft Italian Vinaigrette Salad Dressing with virgin olive oil. Add corn, peas, tomatoes, chopped olives and chopped ham to pan and mix completely. Heat mixture until heated completely.

Add water and Garlic Texas Pete Hot Sauce. Add cooked basmati brown rice to mixture. Mix well.
I cook this casserole in an electric frying pan.
