Makes: 8 servings Total Time: 1 hr
Category: Soups/Chilis Sub Category: Chilis

what you need
  • 1 lb. beef
  • 1 onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 4 cans beans of your choice
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 1 pack taco seasoning
make it
Start cooking the beef.

Chop the onion and green pepper. Saute onion and pepper till brown.

Then add all the ingredients into pot and simmer for half an hour.
When adding canned beans I use all of it including the "juices". Makes it a little less chunky, but if you want chunky drain the "juice".

I prefer to use 2 cans black beans & 2 cans Kidney beans, but it's good with any of them.

When finished I add cheese to the top of my bowl. My husband also likes to add some sour cream sometimes.
