what you need
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 envelope onion soup mix
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 jar (9 oz.) currant jelly
- 1 bottle (25 oz.) ketchup
make it
(1.) In a bowl mix ground beef, onion soup mix, egg and bread crumbs.
(2.) Form mixture into bite-size balls. Saute meatballs in butter until brown. Drain on paper towels.
(3.) In a saucepan stir in currant jelly and ketchup and cook over medium heat. Add meatballs. Simmer for about 25 minutes or until heated through. Serve hot with cocktail toothpicks.
