Makes: 24 to 36 Total Time: 1 hr 15 min
Category: Cookies Sub Category: Other

what you need
  • 1 box cake mix (any flavor--lemon has best review at home)
  • 1 regular size tub Cool Whip, thawed
  • 1 egg
  • Powdered Sugar (to roll cookies in)
make it
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix cake mix, thawed Cool Whip and 1 egg together. Stir well with a spoon, mixture will be a little stiff, but you want it smooth.

With a teaspoon, drop cookies in powdered sugar and roll until coated well.

Then bake for 12 to 15 minutes at 350. Cool on wire rack.
This is the easiest cookie to make and the most famous at my house or any party I go to.

You can pick whatever flavor you like for the season or reason.

My mother has made these cookies since I was a small girl. They are as big a hit now as then.
