Makes: 10-12 servings Total Time: 1 hr 30 min
Category: Dinner Entrees Sub Category: Chicken & Turkey Entrees

what you need
  • 2 lb. chicken breast halves, cooked and sliced
  • Oil
  • Seasoning
  • 1 bag (2 lb.) frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
  • 1 package (8 ounce) Philadelphia Cream Cheese, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 lb. Oscar Mayer Deli-Sliced Ham (we like Brown Sugar), cut into fourths
  • 2 cups Kraft Shredded Swiss Cheese, divided
  • 2 packages (10 ounce each) frozen chopped broccoli, thawed
  • 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
make it
Preheat oven to 350°F. Slice chicken breasts into bite-sized strips and brown in oil; season if desired (we like Emeril's Southwest seasoning).

While chicken is cooking, spray the bottom of a 9x13 pan and layer bottom with potatoes. Layer browned chicken, cream cheese slices and ham over potatoes. Sprinkle with 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese. Top with broccoli. Combine soup and pepper; spoon over broccoli. Top with remaining cheese.

Bake uncovered for 50 to 55 minutes or until bubbly.
Notes
This casserole takes some prep work, but there is nothing better on a cool autumn day. The flavors mingle together as they bake, and the gooey, comforting taste is out of this world.

It's a true one-dish meal, including carbs, vegetable, dairy, and protein, so serve it with a salad or a dish of applesauce for an unbeatable meal.

Rated  by a cook on 9/20/2009 Loved this! Didn't fit into the 9x13 pan, so I trimmed the ingredients down some. Made this w/o the broccoli. Was great and were barely any leftovers!! Will definitely make again!
