Country Roast with Gravy

Makes: 8 servings, 2 cups Total Time: 4 hr 1 min

what you need
  • 1 roast of your choosing
  • 3 lb. (8) small red potatoes, cubed
  • 1 large onion, leafed
  • 1/2 lb. green beans, cut
  • 1/2 lb. carrot, cut
  • 2 cans (10 oz. each) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 package dried onion soup
make it
Place roast in large baking pan. Surround with prepared vegetables.

Spread soups on top of roast. Add 2 cans water. Cover tightly with lid or foil.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 3 1/2 hrs.
Notes
Veggies can be added or subtracted to taste. Try adding asparagus and whole pearl onions.

Cook time can be shortened by 30 min. but not as tender.

Do not uncover until done!!!
