Cranberry Butter Sauce Bundt Cake

what you need
  • CAKE
  • 4-1/2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1-1/2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup evaporated milk
  • 3 cups sifted flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3 teaspoons baking soda
  • 3 cups whole cranberries
  • BUTTER SAUCE
  • 1/2 pound margarine
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
make it
CAKE
Cream butter and sugar and combine with water and milk. Stir in flour, salt, and soda. Mix well. Add cranberries.

Bake in Bundt pan (greased) at 350°F for 40 minutes or until done. Serve with Butter Sauce.

BUTTER SAUCE
Boil butter or margarine with milk, sugar and vanilla. Serve cake and top each piece with warm butter sauce. (May be prepared ahead and reheated.)
Notes
It's so easy to make. The cake alone is delicious...but the "secret" is definitely the butter sauce!
