Cream Cheese Potato Soup

what you need
  • 16 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1 1/2 cups of milk (or more)
  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
make it
Boil potatoes and onions with enough water to cover potatoes until soft. Do not drain.

Remove from heat and add all other ingredients listed. Simmer until everything is dissolved.

Serve with Kraft Shreeded Cheese, bacon bits and chives if desired.
Notes
My family LOVES this potatoe soup! The cream cheese makes it so creamy and delicious!

Rated  by davisfamily417 on 9/26/2010 Today was the first "cold" day of the season and I was really wanting a good warm soup,I didn't have a lot of time or indgredients and then I came across this. So easy and I had all the ingredients on hand! A for sure keeper, thanks for sharing!
