what you need
- 1 or 2 cans cream of mushroom soup (depends how big your crock-pot is but I like 2 cans)
- 1 pouch onion soup mix
- 1 whole chicken, cleaned
- 1 pkg. wide egg noodles
make it
Put cream of mushroom soup in crock-pot. Open dry soup mix and pour into sifter over the crock-pot so that the seasoning goes into the crock but not the onions. Mix together well. Put chicken in the mix.
Cook on high 5 to 6 hours or on low 8 hours. Remove chicken and take off the bone. Stir gravy in crock-pot to check for small bones. Put deboned, pulled apart chicken back in gravy in crock-pot.
Boil noodles separately. Serve chicken & gravy over noodles.
Notes
This is really good with mashed potatoes and green beans on the side.
