Crock-Pot Lasagna

what you need
  • 2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 container (15 oz.) ricotta cheese
  • 1 small container cottage cheese
  • 2 jars spaghetti sauce
  • 2/3 cup water
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Lasagna noodles (uncooked)
  • 2 bags shredded mozzarella cheese
make it
Brown ground beef. Drain and add ricotta, & cottage cheese, mix well. In separate bowl, mix spaghetti sauce & water.

Spray inside of crock-pot with cooking spray. Layer ingredients in crock-pot in this order...
Spaghetti sauce
Meat & cheese mixture
Sprinkle with desired amount of parmesan cheese
Uncooked noodles (you will have to break them to fit)
Mozzarella cheese
Repeat layering, ending with generous amount of mozzarella cheese as final layer.

Cook in crock-pot on low 4-4 1/2 hours, or until noodles are tender. Enjoy!!

Rated  by kwright79 on 11/19/2009 My husband loved this lasagna, actually he loved it more than "homemade baked" recipe, which is alot simpler ! I added a few extra's such as italian seasoning, garlic, mushrooms, onions, and extra cheese, but was wonderful!
