Curried Stewed Fruit

what you need
  • 1 medium can pineapple chunks
  • 1 medium can pears
  • 1 medium can cherries
  • 1 medium can sliced peaches
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
make it
Drain fruit well. Melt margarine and brown sugar. Add curry.

Put in baking dish, layer of fruit, and layer of liquid.

Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.
Notes
Freezes well and tastes even better after a day or so.

Goes well with any meat but especially good with ham, pork, turkey, chicken, or fish. Adds a touch of elegance to your table!
