Makes: 4 servings Total Time: 2 hr 50 min
Category: Dinner Entrees Sub Category: Pork Entrees

what you need
  • 4 pork steaks
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • 6 or 8 med. potatoes
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
  • 1 med. onion
  • 1 lg. can cream of mushroom soup (or 2 small cans)
  • 1 tsp. paprika
make it
Brown pork steak in oil. When done put pork steak in a 9 x 13 baking pan. Add salt and pepper.

Peel and slice potatoes and put on top of pork. Slice green pepper, mushrooms and onion, and put on top of pork.

In a bowl put in cream of mushroom soup with same amount of water, stir, and pour on top of meat, potatoes, and vegetables. Sprinkle paprika and cover with aluminum foil.

Bake at 350 degrees F for about 1 1/2 hrs. Remove foil, and allow potatoes to brown.
With this recipe, you can make it with your own personal touch... I assure you when this is done you will not need a knife to cut the pork steak,, it is so tender.. I serve buttered spinach with this...
