what you need
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. onion flakes
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 1 tsp. garlic
make it
Slice meat into thin strips (approx. 1 ½” thick), marinate in above mixture overnight.

Prepare jerky in a food dehydrator according to manufacturer's directions, or dry on racks in the oven at 150 degrees F (65 degrees C) until the jerky has dried and will snap when bent, 10 to 12 hours.
Notes
**Note – we actually like our jerky a bit soft.
