what you need
  • 2 lb. lean ground beef
  • Diced onion
  • Minced garlic
  • 1 can mushroom pieces, drained
  • Salt and pepper to taste, drained
  • --or-- leftover cooked hamburgers, crumbled
  • 3 boxes Kraft Macaroni and Cheese (make following directions according to your needs)
  • 2 cans Bush's Baked Beans (your favorite flavor)
  • 1 package (12 oz.) Kraft Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Brown ground beef with diced onion, minced garlic, drained mushroom pieces, salt and pepper (to taste). Drain. --- or leftover cooked hamburgers, crumbled.

Once all the items have been made (this is great for using leftovers), combine the hamburger, mac 'n' cheese, and baked beans in a bowl. Pour them into a casserole dish, and top with shredded cheddar cheese.

Heat them in the oven at 350°F until the cheese is melted and browning.
Notes
A great topper when serving this is crushed French's fried onion rings!!

I make this both fresh and from leftovers. So depending on if you are cooking from beginning or using leftovers is going to determine your cooking/prep times.

I guesstimated everything, so I really don't know how much of this and that I use, since it varies each time I make it, sometimes we omit the meat or add in hot dogs.
