what you need
  • 1 can (16 oz.) crushed pineapple, drained well
  • 1 can condensed milk (preferably Eagles but any one will do)
  • 1/3 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 tub (8 oz.) Cool Whip
  • 2 (9 inch) graham cracker pie crusts
make it
Drain pineapple extremely well, squeeze in a hand towel or paper towels to get ALL of the juice out.

In a large bowl, add milk, lemon juice, cream cheese, pineapple and nuts. Mix well; fold in Cool Whip.

Pour 1/2 mixture into each pie crust. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
Be sure to get all the juice out of the pineapple!!!

Make sure the cream cheese is room temperature. NOT softened in the microwave!!
