Easy Chocolate Pecan Pie

what you need
  • 1 1/2 ounces (1 1/2 squares) semi-sweet chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 stick butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 unbaked pie shell
make it
Stir together melted chocolate and butter, until well blended. Add syrup, sugar, eggs, salt, and vanilla. Stir all together until well blended.

Sprinkle chopped pecans evenly in the bottom of unbaked pie shell. Gently pour filling over nuts (nuts will rise during baking).

Bake in preheated 350-degrees F oven for 30-35 minutes until done. Let cool for an hour.
