Easy Delicious Pot Roast

what you need
  • 1 pot roast
  • Flour
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can French onion soup
make it
Flour both sides of roast and brown each side of the roast in a skillet. Sprinkle salt, pepper & garlic powder on each side as it browns in the skillet.

After both sides are browned place the roast in a crock-pot and cover it with cream of mushroom soup and French onion soup. Cover the remainder of the roast with water.

Cook in crock-pot on high for 8 to 9 hours depending on how big the roast is.
I like to brown my roast and get it ready the night before. I put it in my refrigerator and the next morning before I go to work I take it out and put it in my crock-pot, when I get home in the evening my meal is ready. I either add potatoes and carrots when I get home, or make mashed potatoes and top them off with the gravy from the roast. This is the most tender juicy roast I've ever ate. There will be no need for a knife to eat this roast.
