Easy Mozzarella Chicken

what you need
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast
  • 8 oz. Kraft Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 jar spaghetti sauce (non meat)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz. pasta
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil or butter
  • 8 oz. Kraft Shredded Parmesan Cheese
  • Garnish: Chopped fresh parsley

Preheat oven to 350°F. Make a small slice in-between each chicken breast and stuff with 2 oz. of mozzarella. In a 9x9 baking dish, add 1/4 of your sauce. Place stuffed chicken in the baking dish and pour over the rest of the sauce. Cover and bake for about 25-30 minutes or until done.

Cook pasta according to package. Add 2 tsp. salt to you water to season the pasta. Drain. Toss with oil or butter and parmesan.

To Serve: Place 1 cup of pasta on a plate. On top of the pasta add a chicken breast and some sauce. Garnish with chopped parsley.
There are other variations of this dish. For example: you could coat the chicken breast with Kraft's bread crumbs and pan fry the chicken until brown and then place in the baking dish with you sauce.

Rated  by jdudley1982 on 3/15/2005 I loved this chicken recipe, the only problem I had with it was that I cooked it just as it said, but the chicken was still raw on top when I took it out. I turned the oven up to 425 and let it cook for an extra 20 minutes and then it was perfect.
