Eggnog French Toast with Eggnog Sauce

what you need
  • French Toast:
  • 2 cups eggnog
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • bread
  • Sauce:
  • 1 cup eggnog
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ½ milk
  • brown sugar (sweeten to taste)
  • 2 Tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 Tablespoon cornstarch mixed with a little milk
make it
Combine ingredients and dip bread in batter. Fry French toast in a some margarine over medium heat in a large fry pan.

For sauce, heat eggnog, cinnamon, nutmeg, milk, brown sugar, and maple syrup to a low boil. Add a little cornstarch to lightly thicken sauce and pour over french toast.
