French Coconut Pie

what you need
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups sweetened flaked coconut
  • 1/2 cup oleo, melted
  • 1 Tbsp. white distilled vinegar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
make it
Combine sugar, beaten eggs, coconut, melted oleo, vinegar, and vanilla; mix well.

Pour into unbaked pie shell,

Bake at 350 degrees F for 50-60 minutes, or until a knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool before serving.
Instead of the coconut you can use chopped pecans.
