Makes: 12+ servings Total Time: 40 min
Category: Desserts Sub Category: Crisps & Cobblers

what you need
  • 1 package sugar cookie dough (or homemade)
  • 1 container (8 oz.) lite or fat free Cool Whip
  • 1 jar (7 oz.) marshmallow cream
  • Fruit of your choice, sliced and ready to use (fresh fruit or frozen fruit defrosted works)
make it
Preheat oven to indicated temperature on cookie package. Use non-stick cooking spray on 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

Separate dough into handfuls and press into bottom of pan to desired crust thickness. Place the crust in the oven and cook it for the indicated time on cookie package. Make sure to keep an eye on it because you don't want the top to get too golden brown.

While crust is baking, use a hand mixer on low to combine Cool Whip and marshmallow cream until smooth. Set sauce aside. Slice and clean fruit if you haven't already done so.

Remove crust when done and let cool almost completely. Pour and spread sauce on top of the crust to desired depth. Top with fruit and chill until ready to serve. Remove 15 - 20 minutes prior to eating for easier cutting. Enjoy!
Notes
I use all but about a cup of the sauce. I save the rest for dipping strawberries into it.

Try adding food coloring to the sauce for a fun twist.
