Grandma's Cheesy Grits

what you need
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 cup grits
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 stick butter
  • 8 oz. Velveeta
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. red hot sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. dry parsley on top about
make it
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Boil water, add grits and stir until thick. Add all other ingredients until smooth. Put parsley on top.

Pour into 9x13 pan.

Bake 1 hour. Should be firm.
We serve this with ham and green bean casserole.
