what you need
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 1 pkg. Stove Top Stuffing (any flavor), prepared as directed on pkg.
- 2 cans cream soup (I use celery and onion)
- 2 Tbsp. catsup
- 4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
make it
Combine meat and milk. Divide into 10 patties--6 inch circles. Put 1/4 cup prepared stuffing in the center of each circle. Draw meat over stuffing and seal.
Place bundles in a casserole dish. Combine soup, catsup, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour sauce over bundles.
Bake at 350 degrees F for approximately 45 minutes, or until bundles pop open and meat is done.
Notes
The sauce turns into really creamy gravy as the bundles bake.
This is a recipe that my Mom used to cook for the local Rotarians. They loved it. She passed away many years ago, so when I make it, I always think of her.
