Hamburger Gravy and Mashed Potatoes

what you need
  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 3/4 of 18 oz. jar beef gravy
  • 2 2/3 cup Potato Buds flakes
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 2 2/3 cups water
make it
Brown hamburger and drain any grease.

Add gravy. Reduce heat to med-low.

Prepare potatoes as directed on package. Top mashed potatoes with gravy.
Notes
You can use real potatoes Of course, boil potatoes until soft and then mash with milk and butter.

Serve with your choice of vegetable and bread. You can also add cooked mixed veggies to the hamburger gravy. This gravy can also be used with egg noodles.
