Hot Cheesy Salsa Dip

what you need
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound hot ground sausage
  • 1 pound Velveeta Cheese
  • 1 large jar salsa (mild, medium or hot depending on preference)
  • 1/2 packet taco seasoning
make it
Brown ground beef and sausage in large skillet drain fat.

In the meantime, cut cheese into small chunks (makes melting easier). Start melting cheese into ground meat mixture over low heat

Add salsa and 1/2 packet of taco seasoning. When mixture is all melted, pour into crock-pot.
Notes
I keep mine in a crock-pot, which makes it easy to transport and keeps it warm for dipping. Serve with tortilla chips. This quick and simple dip is one of my most requested recipes....enjoy.
