what you need
- 1 medium pack ground chuck
- 1 pkg. (4 count) Hillshire Farm Hot & Spicy Italian Sausages
- 1 medium sized onion
- 1 pkg. Kraft Deli Swiss and/or Cheddar Cheese Slices
- 1 pkg. hamburger buns
make it
Get a bowl, place ground chuck beef in it, take the sausages, (do not cook them first!) Cut a vertical line down the middle of each of the four sausages. Spoon the meat out of sausage links and into the bowl of ground chuck (of course without the skin). Take the onion, slice in half. Take one half and dice fine and empty into the bowl with ground chuck and sausage. Mix all three ingredients until sausage, ground chuck, and onion are well mixed.
Then make balls (of the size of baseballs) out of the meat. After you have made the balls, either take a rolling pin or anything else you prefer to flatten them into hamburgers.
Advise hamburgers to be grilled. When meat is done (and still on the grill), place cheese slices on patties until they melt. Then remove patties and place on buns and add any other condiments to burger.
