Italian Chicken Tomato Pie

what you need
  • 1 deep dish frozen pie crust, baked
  • 2 boneless skinned chicken breasts, cooked and chopped
  • 2 medium tomatoes, sliced and drained
  • 1/2 cup prepared pesto sauce
  • 2 tsp. flour
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 cup Kraft Mayo Real Mayonnaise
  • 1 cup Kraft Italian Five Cheese Shredded Cheese

Prepare pie crust according to package directions. Boil chicken for 15 minutes - drain and chop. Slice tomatoes and drain on paper toweling.

Place chicken in pie crust. Spread with pesto sauce. Layer tomatoes evenly on top of pesto. Sprinkle with flour and pepper. Spread mayo evenly over tomatoes. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.

Bake at 400 degrees F for 20 minutes.
Notes
I have always liked tomato pie. Adding the chicken and other ingredients makes the pie either a lunch or dinner favorite. It's lovely served with a mixed green salad.
